Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti won Merit Scholarship from UGC, and got her PhD (2003) from the University of Manchester UK. Her contribution to education and research is significant. In recent Schimago Institutionalized Ranking 2022, Department of Library and Information Science ranks 1st in the IUB, 3rd in Pakistan and 411 position among 4364 institutions in the world. She has published more than 120 research papers in well-known domestic and foreign journals, and nd participated in numerous national conferences. She won the ASIS&T 2018 (First paper winner award). Prof. Rubina is patron of 1st International Conference on Interdisciplinary Approach in Social Sciences. She is working as Chairperson of the Workplace Harassment Committee, IUB Publication Conference, IUB Inspection Committee, IUB Sovenior Committee, Core Committee for Pakistan Gallery. She is also a member of the Higher Education Committee of the National Digital Technical Committee of Pakistan, National Curriculum Reviews Curriculum and NRPU Reviewer.
She has published more than 120 research papers in well-known domestic and foreign journals. She is Editor-in-Chief of IUB Journal of Social Sciences and Journal of Information Management and Practices. As such, she is on the editorial boards of different national and international journals in the field of social sciences. She also performed duties as technical committee member of the International Conference of Information Management and Processing (ICIMP) Oxford University London,2018. With this, under the supervision of Dr. Rubina many national and international conferences and symposiums organized in The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
She is an approved doctoral supervisor by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and has supervised many masters, Phil and PhD theses. She has supervised research and library automation related projects for different local and foreign organizations. She has participated in many seminars, workshops, etc. as a consultant and/or participant.

Dr. Ann Graf is an assistant professor of library and information studies at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. Her research and teaching interests lie in information organization, broadly speaking, with an emphasis on documentation and cataloging of various resources. She has examined how photographs of ephemeral art, including graffiti art and street art, are documented and organized around the world in online image galleries. This work has led to further examination of the sufficiency of controlled vocabularies to capture the content and context of image and object collections. She teaches information organization, art documentation, and digital libraries courses at Simmons. In her spare time, she is organizing a personal collection of over 3000 twentieth century dolls, participating in community science efforts to track dragonfly and damselfly species, and always taking loads of photograph.

Dr Michael Olsson is an active researcher in the field of information practices research, with a particular interest in developing more holistic approaches to information research. His work is essentially interdisciplinary and has appeared in leading international research journals and conferences in a range of different fields, including information studies, communication, sociology of knowledge, leisure studies and knowledge management. He is strongly associated with the emergence of critical- and practice theoretical approaches to information research. He has a strong interest in the relationship between theory, research and professional practice. He has an active interest in the development of the next generation of information researchers and has run workshops for doctoral students in Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia, the United States, Canada, the UK, Sweden, Finland and Estonia. He was the 2019-20 Chapter Director and board member of the Association for Information Science & Technology.

Dr. Ruwan Gamage is a Senior Lecturer in Library and Information Science at the National Institute of Library and Information Sciences (NILIS), University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Dr. Gamage has 22 years of experience in the discipline of Library and Information Sciences. Dr. Gamage is the current Chair of the South Asia Chapter of the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) and the Immediate Past President of the Sri Lanka Library Association.
He obtained his Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2001 and the PhD in Library Science from the Wuhan University, Wuhan, P R China in 2008. Dr. Gamage was a Visiting Fellow of the Graduate School of Library, Information and Media, University of Tsukuba, Japan in 2017. He has completed a Baseline Study on Public Libraries in Sri Lanka under a research grant from the ICT Agency (ICTA), Sri Lanka. In 2009, The Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP), UK awarded the ILIG International award for making a difference in libraries and information centers outside UK for initiating the Sri Lanka Library Friends Forum. Dr. Gamage’s research interests include public library policy, and information organization. He has over 50 peer reviewed publications under his name.
